movement broke early on
Score: 10/10
Notes: Really fun, the dialogue options were awesome, and the controls felt great to use. I liked the beginning where it played the vine boom sfx (hilarious), and the gameplay was chef’s kiss.
This game is definitely the most visually impressive top-down I have seen today. The only problems are that when you finish the boss it doesn’t seem to despawn the projectiles instantly and lets them shoot. Also the game is kind of short.
Overall: 8/10
Graphics: 7/10
Story: 10/10
Ease of Play: 8/10
Notes: Cuuuute cute cute. Big fan of the lighting AND I found it cool that there were several dialogue options.
Nugget the capybara really felt like a game. It had dialogue, a mission tracker, interaction buttons, and was overall really good in terms of gameplay. The actual combat mechanics could be improved a little, as the boss fight felt a little cheesable, but the gameplay mechanics were really neat. There was a storyline, but it felt a little rushed. There weren’t any hugely noticeable bugs I noticed, other than how easy it was to cheese the boss fight. As a recommendation, I would suggest moving the attack button from f to left click since the mouse was required either way.
This game was really creative. I liked the top-down perspective and the text features. The shooting was good as well. The game felt pretty short, but it would be really good if it was expanded to be longer. The boss fight was pretty easy as well.
This was definitely a unique take on top down. It was a weird 3D which I thought was really cool, and as the creator of another top down game I think I might actually benefit from implementing something similar in the future in my own games. The graphics were very cool as it was almost a pseudo 3D isometric type of game. The characters were cool, and the story line was easy to follow because of the mission tracker. The game made sense, there were some bugs with projectiles towards the end of the game.
I like this game a lot. I like the different levels of it and how it worked. I dont think it was too confusing and I like the boss fight and other unique aspects that a lot of the other 2d games didn’t have. I think the only trying that could be better is the lag, but that just means it was good and there was a lot so it was slow.
9/10
[ This has got to be my second favorite so far. It really reminds me of UnderTale and the graphics are really adorable. Also the dialogue part is genius and really smart to use and I really liked how this game turned out, even if the boss and the enemy are just.. Stickmin. ]
I like the dialogue, but I can’t find any way to exit the fence. Everything else is fine, and the Yuzu bit is funny. I found how to exit the fence, and the dungeon is cool. I don’t like how dark it is, but the boss battle is awesome.
The game was unique compared to the other 2D games that I have played, it has a story, good animation, and even a boss fight. The game wasn’t buggy or confusing while playing it. There’s nothing much I could suggest to make the game better than it is.
The game was simply and I liked the shadows
The graphics were good
I liked how the game walked me through on what exactly to do
There wasn’t any bugs I noticed
Only thing I would change is the up and down movement of the capybara
Text is slow, art is good, cool boss fight and npc interaction (8/10)
The game is pretty fun, I liked the small maze and boss fight. There was nothing confusing about the game, but the start was confusing for my partner. The game's graphics were nice and simple. The characters were cool. The storyline was to get the Yuzu from the stickman. The game made sense and I encountered no bugs. I’m not sure what's needed to improve it.
It was really good and fun, not confusing at all, graphics were good and the characters were cool. The storyline was good and made sense easily, could make the snakes easier to kill or like make the shooting less intense.
The game being in a top-down format is very taxing on the eyes since the depth of certain elements is so different in comparison to others. The beginning area is perfectly flat, while the maze appears to be set at an angle. The path into the maze is also hard to see at first. The enemy sprites could be done in more detail.
What stood out to me about this game was how in the beginning it was dark and I thought that part was really fun. It would have also been fun if you could control the gun with the mouse but either way I enjoyed the game and I liked the design. I also like the fact that instructions were included.
This is the best game out of all of them. I really love the premise and even the sound design. The shadow really surprised me and most importantly this game has the best story from PM, I really like it because of that.
Pretty good game. Bonus points for added boss fight.
The capybara has a good design, but the environment was quite bland. Using “f” to attack was interesting, but not annoying. The final boss however took way too long to beat and there wasn’t much danger to the player as long as you kept attacking. I would suggest adding some uniqueness to the environment and changing the final boss fight.
Art is ok, game was fun but there were a few issues like the boss's health staying at the end. Also the movement was a bit too slow.
game too laggy for me to play. Literally crashed the tab.
Fun i guess, 6/10
HAH, I found the beginning funny. Very cool with the darkness aspect, it's a very good game.
Very creative! The line of sight mechanic was really impressive and the boss fight was fun to fight. I also like the storyline of finding a little fruit thingy for the sole purpose of putting it on your head to wear.
7 cool idea, i like the talking textbox and the boss battle, seemed a little short and that the sneaking around section in the beginning coulda had more time
The game is cool, the lightning system is really cool, funny pictures, good artwork, and the game is a little slow for me. 8/10
was waiting for mission the entire time, i think i was missing something but i liked the 3d graphics for the walls
Make the movement keys wasd so you don’t have to take your hands off the movement keys to shoot. The capybara doesn’t look to the left at all either. But, I really like the light mechanic.
Swimming is broken. The double shot sucks because you can shoot straight and it is basically a nerf to your gun.
Clear story
Controls are given
Good artwork
Cool story before and has as a cool quest dont know why its walking backwards but its good
