I like that the creator of the game went 3D since that’s pretty unique and it’s likely no else has attempted to do so. I didn’t get that far into the game unfortunately because it was extremely laggy and I could barely move. From what I could see, the graphics were okay and not the worst. I do believe that figuring out a way to lessen the lag is 100% going to make the game better.
Score: 6/10
Notes: Above and beyond by going 3D, got scared by being chased by boxes, though. Infinite ammo was not promised (there’s no ammo packs to pick up).
I think this was a pretty cool experience, there obviously wasn’t much of a story but I think its a pretty good game. The only thing that I could have complaints about was the fact there doesn’t seem to be a way to gain more ammo. If there is then I guess I’m just bad at the game. Extra points for being the first to have a 3D game
Testing 3D Player was really cool. Having a 3D game in general seems really impressive, and it seemed pretty well put together at that. The graphics were pretty good, and mechanics were explained well. I loved that the gun had writing on it. There didn’t seem to be much in the way of story or plot. The only bug I noticed was that some of the walls didn’t have hitboxes, so the player could jump through them. As for improvements, I would suggest changing the enemy attack to deal a one time blow and then give the player i-frames, as the current constant drain is really hard to deal with once an enemy reaches the player.
Overall: 6/10
Graphics: 6/10
Story: 3/10
Ease of Play: 7/10
Notes: Why are you 3D??? It’s cool but also like…wow. And besides shooting boxes, it really isn’t that fun. No capybara whatsoever besides the doodle on the gun.
This game was an interesting test of the 3d in GDevelop. I don’t know what it has to do with Capybara’s however. It was very impressive and most likely took a long time to make. I wish there were invincibility frames after taking damage as the enemies can too easily kill the player otherwise.
Definitely the most original in terms of type of game. An FPS was a game I was not expecting and it was pretty fun. The movement is my favorite part of it. The confusing part was the maze. The game's graphics were also pretty simple, but since the game is in first person I think it is an alright compromise. The characters didn’t make very much sense and the main character didn’t make a whole lot of sense. There was no storyline, the game didn’t make very much sense, and the only bug I could think of was that enemies seemed to attack very fast when you’d jump by. To improve the game I’d give a clearer story and objective.
The game was pretty good. It was kinda confusing considering I didn’t know what the objective was. The game had good graphics. The game was quite hard to beat though, It didn't really have a storyline, and there weren't many custom sprites. It was 3d though, which is cool.
The 3D is awesome. This is a really different take on the capybara games I’ve seen so far, and I really like the aesthetic. Something else I like is the animation for reloading. I will say, though, the companion cube enemies drain your health way too fast, and the first one is very hard to kill.
The game was very cool, I liked the 3d game. There wasn’t anything I was confused about since it told us the controls. The graphics were nice. The characters, I’m not sure since they were boxes and I’m assuming we are playing a capybara. I don't know what the storyline is. The game made some sense, though the enemies were a bit weird. I experienced no bugs but the game could be improved if they had a bit more time to work on it, I’m assuming.
1.5/10
[ The graphics are incredibly low, and while I love the 3d aspect, there is no storyline and unable to progress through the game. ]
This game was insane and fun
I felt like I was playing an actual game because it was 3d
I got jumpscares from the enemies that would instantly come towards you
Very cool
3D game?!?!?!! Really fun and kinda hard, good art, not much to do with capybaras besides the one on the barrel (9/10)
The game was the most unique so far, rather than a regular 2D game, it's a 3D game. The graphics were good, no bugs. There wasn’t really a story to it, and the characters/enemies were just boxes. Only thing I would say is to add more visual characters to it
The game was really cool. I loved how it was 3d and the graphics were cool and nothing was confusing. The storyline was ok. There were no characters but no comments and it was cool.
The 3d is really cool, the ammo runs out very fast, same with health, and reloading takes a pretty long time, the sprint energy reload is very weird I can’t tell what it’s doing until its full again
The gameplay makes sense, but the lack of a crosshair makes aiming far more difficult than it should be. I died very quickly, and I could not think of more suggestions or comments.
I enjoyed this game very much and I liked how it was 3D. It was exciting to play and I felt on the edge of my seat trying to avoid or shoot the squares. I am curious as to what the lore is and I think it would be cool if at the beginning there was info on what you are supposed to accomplish.
I like how it’s the only game on the list thats 3D, and it looks like a game from the 2000s. The cubes absolutely scared me and I think its a very good enemy.
Just best gameplay, best movement and the only 3d game. This game really excites me about the games I want to develop in the future. P.S, There was no capybara
This game was very fun and unique. I liked the use of 3D graphics and Doom-like gameplay. I think the enemies could actually have a proper design (since they are just cubes), and it could be a little more obvious when you fire the gun.
The game is pretty good in quality, I like how the map is built and how it’s played. The aiming system is really troublesome to work with, it not only doesn’t shoot accurately but I also can’t see where I’m aiming at and I have to guess every time I shoot. The limited bullets is a great idea, but paired with this issue I lose bullets too fast for the game. The player’s hitbox also has to be fixed, even if I jump over the enemy I still get health taken despite not touching them. I really enjoyed the game, it does allow the player to think and strategize on how to win.
I like the fact that it is 3d which makes it way more interactive. The game is really engaging and I like the movement. I wish I could reload. The only bug I found was when i held down shift the grey bar could go down to -1.
It doesn’t run well on chrome, I’m not sure what it has to do with capybaras and there are no invincibility frames. Besides that, being in 3d is kinda cool.
laggy unplayable
It's very laggy, but it's unique for its 3D Style. It's too laggy to play and fight the enemies.
Good gameplay and is engaging art is fine
Its 3D!!! Its really cool that its 3D and it actually LOOKS really good. I cant tell if the game is actually good or not because it was poorly optimized and I could not even move out of the spawn. I had MAXIMUM 5 fps.
Super impressive. Couldn't get the shooting to work, and the acceleration was busted sometimes, but for what it is it's really cool they were able to do that especially since we haven't learned that yet. 3/10 walking simulator
The first 3d game of the bunch, really good idea, if they were given more time to fine-tune and tweak, this would've been the best game out of the class, however it performs like butt and the enemies are too tanky, the reload takes too long, there no reticle, and there no firing animation.
Cool concept but not much of a game. The 3d models look good but are not really playable just walking around. 2/10
game was fun and I enjoyed it. Felt like it was lacking the “capybara” part, even if you’re supposed to play as a capybara. It had fun and enjoyable movement.
Game is cool. I would like to be able to reload without having to use the entire clip and a longer sprint time.
Not sure about a story
3D game looks really cool!
Cool visuals but it is a little laggy and i dont get the objective but is cool
