I like the concept of a two player capybara game as it’s pretty unique compared to the rest of the class. However, the game was really laggy and it was a bit hard to play. The controls were also a little janky for me and my friend. Overall, I think fixing the controls and lag would definitely help improve the game.
I think this was a pretty cool game, I don't think many did a 2 player thing for theirs. The programming is all there. I think the only thing that could be improved would be the art.
Overall: 4/10
Graphics: 4/10
Story: 5/10
Ease of Play: 3/10
Notes: Was a fun and engaging game overall, but looking at it gave me and my opponent motion sickness.
Score: 3/10
Notes: Good game. I just got motion sick. You could make the backgrounds more contrasting so the eyes aren’t distracted by such a noisy forest for a background.
The game didn’t work that well in the link, but it didn’t have many unique sprites. There was no storyline, but I liked the 2 player aspect to it making it unique. It is very simple , but works.
The idea of the game is good, two players is a really cool concept. The most confusing part was trying to see the platforms. They blended in too much with the background. Same thing for the graphics, they were blurry and hard to see at times. The characters were cool and they fit with the story. The game made some sense, and I didn’t find any bugs. To improve this game I would probably make the platforms more visible and the graphics less blurry. (Changing texture filtering from linear to nearest in the project settings.)
Game 11: This game is so fun. The timer system pausing and starting was so well done, and I love the reload and shoot mechanic. The thing I like the most is the co-op element, so I can definitely see me and my sister playing this. I don’t like how fast the characters move, since this led to a lot of missed jumps and falls, which the long respawn time didn’t help. There are also two jumps that are too high up to make.
7/10
[ This reminds me a lot of Human Fall Flat and Super Smash bros, this could be an extremely fun game to play whenever you're bored, or wanting to play with a friend. This is really fun! Also the graphics are nice, there is no storyline, but the instructions were clear! Very amazing! :D ]
The two player mode was cool and designed map
I didn’t understand what to do, I assumed it was a 1v1 or whoever has the capybara the longest?
The graphics were great, no lags and clean pixel art
Characters were simple
The game made little sense but had a great feature
Everything was good
The game was pretty fun; the multiplayer part of the game was super cool. There was nothing confusing about the game. The graphics were pretty good. The characters were nice, they had to go grab the capybara and win the game. The game made sense, plus if you didn’t know it tells you what to do. So far no bugs and I don’t think there’s much needed to improve the game.
Not much in terms of art, the art that is there is alright, a bit hard to control, decently fun (score: 7/10)
Good idea and execution, simple and well made game idea and mechanics. I think the game could be improved by adding another map or adding something like a comeback mechanic, overall pretty fun.
It was really good and fun, not confusing at all, graphics were good and the characters were cool. No storyline made sense easily, no comment on the game improvement.
The game was good in some aspects but it was a bit confusing to play. There’s not that many characters to it and not really a story too, the cool thing about it is that it was a 2 player game. Something I would add to improve it would be a single player version.
The concept is interesting, and the camera accurately follows players as needed. However, the usage of certain triggers is confusing. Instead of using space and left click to shoot, other keys (like e and right shift) could be utilized for a two player game.
Great game. Liked the controls but the button layout was difficult.
The game being in a top-down format is very taxing on the eyes since the depth of certain elements is so different in comparison to others. The beginning area is perfectly flat, while the maze appears to be set at an angle. The path into the maze is also hard to see at first. The enemy sprites could be done in more detail.
This game has a cool multiplayer concept and smooth gameplay to compliment this. There is correlation to the prompt and overall the game was fun.
The graphics and the obstacles were really good. It was fun to play especially because the player feels they need to be cautious to make the jump. It might have been a little hard for beginner players or maybe it's my lack of skill but either way it was really fun. I like the effect it has like zooming in once you start playing. Another thing that stood out was the beginning instructions on how to play which was a very mindful thing to add.
Very good double jump mechanic, its somewhat laggy and objective isn’t very clear but being a 2 player gives it bonus points in my book. Cappybara is loosely connected.
The graphics of the game are great, the gameplay itself is pretty decent. The camera angle could be improved on, when one player tries to get close to the another the camera shrinks and that player can't go back because they can’t see and thus will probably die when trying. Trying to jump through the place is extremely difficult and it is troublesome that the obstacle course relies on double jumping to play. Overall a good game though.
It’s very fun, I like multiplayer games. The capybara stealing is fun and the knockback on the projectiles was very fun to mess with people. It just has issues running on chrome, but besides that I like it a lot.
The multiplayer theme is really well done, the controls feel easy to be used by 2 people. I like the simplicity of the game. I found no bugs and it seems really fun to play with a friend.
too laggy to enjoy
Not the best, artwork is fine, game feels janky when it come to movement
It's really laggy, but a fun multiplayer game. An improvement would be to fix the lag and placement of platforms. Graphics are basic and a bit boring.
i think my computer is bunyons. SOOO many games that other people can play are too laggy for me.
Art was good, the movement was slippery and total clunk and the two player aspect worked well mechanic wise but logistically wasn't really fun after playing some fore it was actually fun with another person. 7/10
The first two player game so far, and it's really fun. The art is a bit hard to read but it gets the job done and the concept is amazing with good execution.
7.5, pretty good, requires friends though, also i lost movement and idk how
This game was really fun, the movement wasn’t very good but the overall idea was really fun. 9/10
fun with friends, kinda laggy on chrome though. If you run through edge however it runs better. I had fun though.
I think that there should be i-frames for the capybara so you can’t get your capybara stolen immediately after capturing it
Cool graphics
Cool that it’s 2 player
Instructions are clear
Its cool and its a 2 player but cool and could of given a choice but also a little slow
