The graphics are okay, although I do think there’s just too much going on in the background, which makes it hard for the player to focus on the main enemies and things to avoid. There doesn’t appear to be a storyline involved in this game either. The game was also a bit laggy so that could be something that needs fixing. I do think cleaning up the background to make it simpler and adding an easier way to see the instructions could help improve the game.
The game was kind of confusing at first I didn’t even know where my own character was at first. Even then I wasn’t sure how to proceed after I got through all the snakes and their cars.
Overall: 4/10
Graphics: 3/10
Story: 6/10
Ease of Play: /10
Notes: Visuals were extremely overwhelming. Could not get past the first part because it was absolutely flooded with enemies.
Score: 5/10
Notes: Very visually overwhelming; also no real telling what you’re supposed to be doing. However, I see the effort in it, which makes it a solid score.
This game was very overwhelming at the start. It was very confusing at first because I literally couldn’t tell who I was playing until I looked really closely at the game to see I was a very small capybara at the bottom of the screen. The game's graphics were okay, but inconsistent. I found that the game’s story was hard to follow and unintuitive. It was also pretty basic.
This game was very confusing to play. The controls had my hand go all across the keyboard to move while I had the gun which wasn’t fun. I also had a very hard time getting past the enemies. The third area was also confusing as the platforms actually acted more like ladders. I think the art was pretty good, but the gameplay needed some improvement.
The game was okay, it was basic, but the issue was that I couldn’t play it because of the lag. There was a story along with good custom sprites and animations. If it was more playable I would give it a better rating for sure.
Codename CAPY had pretty good character designs. The player design was fun. I would say all the parts of the graphics were good, but put together the game ended up pretty crowded. There was just a little too much in the same areas on screen at one point in time. The game had instructions, which were useful and not included in most of the other games, which I found neat. The level in which all of the platforms were ladders could definitely be improved. Having diagonal platforms be ladders made it so the player couldn’t traverse them without holding up - and thinking of it as a platform led me to fall through it multiple times.
3/10
[ I can’t seem to move…? ]
I love the inclusion of “Rules of Nature” from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance at the very end to add tension. However, the enemies are too fast and the only way to get through the section with the gun is to kill them without aggroing the snakes.
The game was pretty fun, a bit confusing but overall not too bad. Some of the confusing parts was the first part of the game where I didn’t know the puddle was a bad object and the yellow line was a climbable object. The graphics aren’t too bad, it’s pretty simple. The characters were good, snakes and capybaras. There was a storyline which was to infiltrate an area with snakes. The game made some sense to an extent. Like I said before, the puddle I didn’t know was a bad object and the yellow line I didn't know was a climbable object. There was a small bug where the whole screen went black when I entered the building but a quick reset and it's fine. I think they could tell you a bit more things like the enemies.
Art is ok, gameplay is very short and confusing, screen is cluttered (3/10)
I don’t really know what was happening and i couldn’t figure out what was just a part of the background or an interactable, the midair parkour section was a good idea though
The game was really confusing and hard to understand. The graphics were ok, the characters were ok. The story line was cool, was really bugged and needs improvement a lot.
The game was ehh. There wasn’t much to it until it got too laggy to play. The sprite and the animation were good and the story was there, but after the first stage, it was kind of unplayable. One thing I would do is reduce the lag of the game so it will be playable.
The capybara’s headwear resembles antlers, and the user is not given time to realize that they have a gun until a crowd of evil green enemies charges at them. Furthermore, the user’s capybara should stay at a consistent size on screen.
The graphics could be improved and the controls changed to a “wasd” format in order to make it easier to have a full range of movement while shooting.
I really liked the graphics, especially the animation when the capybara jumps. It might be my lack of insight and experience but I was a little confused on how to cross over or maybe the objective was to figure out how. I thought the brown thing attached to the light post was a ladder but it wasn’t and I am curious what it is. Either way I thought the graphics were really good and it was still entertaining.
The health system doesn’t work properly I believe, either that or the snakes in cars do just transport you in the beginning.
There's so much visual clutter I have no idea what kills me and what doesn't.
The graphics are cool, just a little sloppy and slow. Interesting story line, its very unique yet simple. Also has a nice soundtrack!
oo laggy to try anything art looks good though and they have a working health bar
I like the art, gameplay is okay
Art is ok the gameplay is very confusing
game too laggy for me to play again 😔
It’s really hard to read what the background is and the movement doesn't really suit the level design, but the art is alright. 5/10
I can't tell what is or isn't an enemy at all. I kept dying. Maybe I'm just bad but clarity needs some work.
6.7 Feels like two games stitched together, second part is very empty, but interesting idea
I like the artwork of the game and how it all meshes together pretty well. But the gameplay wasn't as fun, the movement wasn't very good.6/10
Did not like that game at all. I was confused where to go and there were too many enemies in one room.
Game feels overly difficult for no reason. When I get to the second level, it feels like there is no way to beat it, as for I dont have enough head room to jump onto the snake.
Why does the player randomly get a gun and then throw it away at the next level? And for the third level, the non-vertical ropes could just be fall through platforms and nothing would change. And with most games, I want a reason to not spam the gun.
Artwork is good, could be less blurry
Clear plot
Could be a bit better in functionality with layout
It doesn't let you move but it has cool visuals
